Richard Muttel Obituary
Rich was a Police Officer with the Passaic Police Department for over 25 years, retiring in 1994 and was a member of Passaic PBA Local #14. A parishioner of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic, Rich proudly served his country in both the US Marine Corps and the US Navy, and was a member of the Marine Corps League Lakeland Detachment # 744.
Beloved husband of Theresa (Marks) Muttel. Dear brother of Robert Muttel, Geraldine Jenkins, and the late Grace White and John Muttel. Loving uncle of several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visiting Sunday, January 4, 2026, 2-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Monday, January 5, 2026, 8:15 AM at the funeral home and 9:30 AM at St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cathedral Chapel, 415 Lackawanna Ave., Woodland Park. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
