It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard E. Nickerson (Ed), 75, on October 2, 2025, who passed at home. Richard was born in Concord, NH, on June 7, 1950.
Richard leaves his life partner of 20 years, Carol Boucher. He also leaves behind his son Richard A. Nickerson and his wife Kathryn Nickerson, grandson, Hamish Nickerson, and daughter, Alicia Nickerson, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Through his life with Carol, Richard was blessed with an extended family who became an important part of his life. He leaves behind Carol's daughter and son in law Melinda and Robert Constantino, and daughter Crystal Supplee, and their children, Cooper Bailey, Lucas Supplee, Owen Constantino, Stella Constantino, Layla Constantino, and Liberty Supplee-all of whom held a special place in his heart. To them, he was lovingly known as "Grandpa Ed", a role he treasured deeply.
Richard was predeceased by his mother, Alice (Whitney) Nickerson (1964), his father Edgar Nickerson (2001), sister Donna Nickerson (2001), wife Judeth (Bolduc) Nickerson (2004), brother Albert Robichaud, Jr. (2021), mother Irene Nickerson (2023), and brother James Harmon (2025). He leaves his sisters Linda Kelley of Topeka, KS, and Sandra Hazeltine of Penacook, NH, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He held several electrical positions in his 45-year career, the latest being at NHTI-Concord when he retired in 2021.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at the NH State Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen, NH, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 1:00pm.
