Richard Scott Parker, Sr., age 61, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. He was born in San Diego, California, on May 20, 1964, to the late Mark Parker and Pauline (Allen) Parker. He worked as a machine operator for Tennessee Wire and Cable. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Pauline Parker; wife, Lisa (Raker) Parker; and brothers, Mark Edward, Larry, and Carlos Parker. He is survived by his sons, Scott Parker and Chad Parker-Carillon (Chase); daughters, Megan Buhler (Willie) and Amber Parker; brothers, Danny Parker, David Parker, and Johnny Parker (Tabitha); grandchildren, Erin Buhler, Eric Buhler, Christian Buhler, Noah Buhler, Vincent Parker, Persephone Morris, Cameron Parker-Carillon, Cayden Parker-Carillon, Lyzette Alamares, Crystal Parker, Gabriel Parker, Abbigale Parker, and Olivia Parker; and best friend, Wanda Parker. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Randy Hester officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 9th from 3pm to 7pm and on Wednesday from 10am until service hour of 1pm. Burial will follow in Felts Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
