Richard Parrack Obituary

Richard M. Parrack, 80 of Elkton, Maryland, passed away at Christiana Hospital on Saturday, October 26, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born In Kingwood, West Virginia, on November 2, 1943, to the late Luther A. and Ruth Miller Parrack. He was a graduate of Elkton High School, West Virginia Wesleyan, and held a Master's Degree in English from Purdue University, and a Master's Degree in theater, his true passion, from Villanova University. He was also a member of Phi Kappa Phi. While a resident of Pennsylvania, he was active in local amateur opera and theater groups. He was also an accomplished piano player .He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict and was stationed in Panama. Richard was an employee of the State of Pennsylvania for many years, and held the position of Administrative Law Judge at the time of his retirement. He is survived by his brother, David of Elkton; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret P. McCool; and a brother, Robert A. Parrack.
