Born August 9, 1957, in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late William H. Pensyl and Elsie R. (Krauth) Sabo.
He and his wife, Eleanor D. (Lambert) Pensyl, celebrated their 47 wedding anniversary on March 18, 2025.
Rich graduated from Wilson High School, Class of 1975. He earned a certificate in automotive technology from Northampton Community College.
He last worked for Service Master by Round the Clock Cleaning, Bethlehem, PA for 7 years. Previously, he was employed by the former Glen Summit Nurseries, Inc., Pittstown, NJ.
Rich enjoyed bowling and gardening. He loved his pets.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Eleanor, is a daughter, Melissa F. Pensyl, and a son, Richard T. Pensyl, Jr., both of Easton; two brothers, William T. Pensyl and his wife Cheryl, of Wilson Borough and his twin, Thomas W. Pensyl and his wife Rene, of Easton; and a grandson, Jason Guillet.
Private arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
