Richard had a deep passion for woodworking, tile work, and antiques, and he was a man of many talents.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Shell Rae Pfenning of Guthrie and Shaina Pfenning of Kansas; his stepson, Devyn Fansler; and several grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: brother, James Pfenning of Oklahoma City; and sisters, Bonita (Pfenning) Johnson of Oklahoma City and Staci (Pfenning) Johnson of Bethany. He leaves behind nephews, Bill Early of Moore, David Johnson of Olathe, Kansas, Hunter Johnson and Wyatt Johnson, both of Bethany; niece, Cheyanne Johnson of Oklahoma City; great-niece, Ryley Emerich of Moore; great-nephew, Ryan Early of Moore; and many friends who loved him dearly.
