It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rick Pugach, which occurred on Saturday February 22, 2025. Husband of Leslie (nee: Kardon), father of Megan (Michael) Gordon and Jesse (Liza Kaplansky) Pugach. Brother of Robert Pugach and Laurie Wilson. Grandfather of Jacob, Lucas and Sylas. Services are Private. The family will be sitting Shiva at his late residence on Thursday February 27, from 4 pm to 7 pm and Friday, February 28, from 1 pm to 3 pm. Visitors are also welcome on Friday evening from 6 - 9 pm. All are welcome to attend to share memories about Rick. More details to follow regarding a springtime memorial event to celebrate Rick's life. Memorial contributions (see below). We have chosen this organization because it is consistent with Rick's dedication for access to healthcare and love of music. BERSCHLER and SHENBERG

Rick was a hero in our lives, battling insurance companies during my husband´s cancer treatment when I lacked the energy or knowledge to do so. He later also helped my daughter with an insurance issue. His kindness, compassion and tireless advocacy will never be forgotten. The world has lost one of the good guys. Rest now in peace, good and faithful servant.

I've known Rick for so many years as his stylist.Rick was such a kind harted person.
I know he took pride in helping others. When I saw Rick last ,he was sooo happy and excited for a client of his that he helped navigate their healthcare. Just over all happy. Rick will be missed
