Richard Carrillo Ramos, 78 of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Richard was born on April 7, 1947, in Mesilla Park, New Mexico to the late Jose Ramos and Octaviana Carrillo. Richard graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1966 and went on to serve his country with The United States Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam Era. He loved God, Church his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, the great outdoors, golfing, and was a Las Cruces Golden Gloves boxing champion. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Jose Ramos and Octaviana Carrillo; brothers Arturo Carrillo and Angel Ramos; sisters Adelina Ramos and Consuelo Ramos; grandparents Santiago Carrillo and Natividad Rodriguez. He is survived by his sons, Carlos and Jimmy Ramos; numerous grandchildren; brother Joe Ramos; sister Dolores Ramos; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and long term partner Lorraine Gomez. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2100 E. 20th St. Farmington, New Mexico. Fr. Frank Chacon officiating. A reception will follow the services at St. Mary's Parish Hall. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Loving Memory of Richard Ramos
