Rick is also survived by three children: Hilary Reedy, Miamisburg, OH: Dean Reedy, Piqua, OH: Elizabeth Reedy, Piqua, OH: four brothers: Bill Reedy, Piqua, OH: Jerry Reedy, Dayton, OH: Tim Reedy, Piqua, OH: Scotty Reedy, Piqua, OH: one sister and brother-in-law: Tina (Tim) Wagner, Troy, OH: one grandson Koen Reedy.
Rick graduated from Piqua High School in 1980. He proudly served in US Air Force from 1981-1984. Rick enjoyed cooking, gardening, listening to music, watching football and baseball. Rick was known for his extravagant fourth of July and Halloween parties: he never missed an opportunity to dress up. His sense of humor and love for football will live on through his kids.
A celebration of Rick's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday October 18, 2024 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home with Pastor Milton Gover officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, OH.
Arrangements are being handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua, OH.
