Richard E. Remick, 83, of Cumming, GA, passed away on June 11, 2025.
He was born in Passaic, NJ in 1941 to Edward and Marie Remick and he grew up in Clifton, NJ before moving to Wayne, NJ to raise his family. He attended Pope Pius High School before joining the National Guard and going to work at Allstate Insurance. His work brought him to Cumming, GA in 1989 where he enjoyed fishing and boating on Lake Lanier.
During his lifetime, Richard loved outdoor activities, including camping, waterskiing and snowmobiling. He was also a talented auto mechanic who enjoyed rebuilding cars, ensuring his family always has a spare vehicle, just in case.
Richard is survived by his wife of 61 years, Diane; his son, Richard T. Remick (Kimberly); his daughters Lauren Cole(Brett) and Lisa Redmond (Gregory); his siblings Sharon Hauswirth, Rita Remick, Thomas Remick and Susan Trotta; and his grandchildren Megan Cole, Matthew Cole, Joseph Redmond and Diana Redmond.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 12:00-3:00pm at the Ingram Funeral Home with a memorial service immediately following at 3:00.
