Richard C. Reul (Dick) passed away at age 91 on October 28, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Arliss and adopted daughter, Robin Thomas. He is survived by his loving daughter, Jane Peterson (Larry Yribia) of Denver, Colorado, his brother David Reul (Betty) of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and sister, Susan Groth of Delavan, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his three loving granddaughters, Lauren Stotts (Tyler) of Loveland, Colorado; Audrey Biesk-Carfora (Matt) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and Natalie Yribia of Denver, Colorado. He was also loved and admired by four great grandchildren, Scarlet, age 11, Nile, Age 9, Zephyr, age, 6, and Ruby, age 4.
Proudly, Dick served as a Sergeant with the Army Corps of Engineers in Korea, 1952-1954. Upon discharge, he began a career in the telephone industry. After 35 years, he retired from Wisconsin Bell as a marketing manager. He was privileged to participate in the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight in 2014.
Family and friends mourn the loss of this wonderful man known for his winning personality, love of music, books, travel, and nature.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ the King Music Program or a charity of your choice in Richard's name.
A visitation will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 at Christ the King Church (1600 N. Genesee St., Delafield, Wisconsin) from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a service to follow. Dick will be laid to rest with his wife, Arliss at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Helenville, Wisconsin following the service.
