On January 3, 2025, Richard H. "Dick" Robinson passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Dick was born May 23, 1936, in Moorestown, New Jersey. He enjoyed a fulfilling 39-year career with the U.S. Steel Corporation, where his dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends.
A man of many interests, Dick found joy in spending time on the golf course, cherishing moments with his family, and serving his church. Faith was a cornerstone of Dick's life. As a longtime member of Southminster Presbyterian Church, he served as a choir member elder, deacon, and Stephen Minister, offering guidance and compassion to his church family and the community. Dick's warmth, generosity, and steadfast commitment to his faith and family will be dearly missed. His legacy of kindness and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Dick is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Kensler) Robinson; daughter, Donna (Rob) Smith; sons, Steve (Teresa), Dave (Joanna) and Doug Robinson; and grandchildren, Shelby, Olivia, Owen, Audrey, Sam, Elizabeth, and Isabella.
A celebration of life will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Mount Lebanon on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Visitation will be held from 1 - 2 p.m. in the parlor, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m., with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Southminster Presbyterian Church (visit www.spchurch.org to donate online).
