Richard “Rick” Ross, Sr, 79 of Lancaster, Pa passed away on September 1, 2025, of natural causes. He was born in Lancaster, Pa on June 2, 1946, to Charles and Martha Ross. He is preceded by his two brothers and two sisters and his parents. He is survived by one son, Richard J. Ross Jr., 62, who lives in Wrightsville, Pa. Rick married Jacqueline (Jackie) Reincke/Ross in 1986 and were married for 39 years. Jackie, 79 currently resides in Pine Grove, Pa. Richard served in the Army as an Electrical Engineer and continued this career after his military service. His hobbies included tinkering with electronics, guitars, and computers.
Military burial will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Pennsylvania at a date to be determined. Donations in memory can be sent to the Lancaster SPCA, 848 Prince St. Lancaster, Pa (717) 917-6979 [email protected].
