He is survived by his daughter, Meagan (Daniel) Murray, and his beloved grandson, Emmett Murray.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, Donald and Judith Rueter, and his two brothers, Jim and Roger Rueter.
Richard worked many years as Director of Digital Pre-Press at AGI-US, traveling the world, making many friends, and leading to a wonderful retirement. He enjoyed horses, cars, airplanes, reading, watching movies with his grandson Emmett, and spending time with his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. The family will greet friends one hour prior to sharing memories at noon as a tribute to Richard's life. Burial will follow at Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
