Bob is survived by his children, Stacie (Rueter) Bowman (husband John), Angie Rueter-Verts (husband Bill), Andy Rueter (wife Sarah), Kaycie Metzelaars (husband Erich), Mark Rueter (fiancé Lindsay), and Nick Rueter (wife Brooke); nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his brothers, Rick and Kevin Rueter; and his sisters, Karen Rueter and Brenda Bremmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Elsie Rueter; grandchildren, Trevor Michael and Ocean Savannah; and brother, Gene Higgs.

A celebration of life will be announced by the family at a later date. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.johnsonandsonsfh.com. The family invites those who knew Robert through his music or art to share stories, reflections, or moments that were meaningful to them. These memories will be collected into a keepsake memory book in his honor.
