Richard Saenz. Age 72 of Grosse Ile.
~ Family Tribute ~
Rick was a dedicated family man to his wife of 54 years, his four daughters, 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren (soon to be 8). He had a fulfilling career with the Detroit Police Department, retiring after 30 years of service. Rick was a man who loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a result, he was always willing to help those in need.
He will be greatly missed.

I'm so sorry to see this obituary. I knew Rick from our time at Mayor's Security and remember him as a soft spoken, good cop. Rick will be remembered and missed by all of us who knew and worked with him at the Detroit Police Department. Gone way too soon.
