Richard Lee "Dick" Schrader, age 71 of Port Huron, passed away on October 25, 2025, after a valiant and courageous battle with diabetes and heart disease. Dick was born on March 25, 1954 in Port Huron. He was the third son born to his proud parents the late Lucille and Clifford Schrader Sr.
Dick graduated from Port Huron High School, where he received the state wrestling title. He was the owner/operator of Schrader's Washer and Dryer Repair Service. Dick was a proud veteran of The United States Army, where he served as a Specialist 3rd Class. His fighting spirit did not stop with his service to his country. He fought valiantly to heal and was determined to recover and return home. God called him before he could complete his mission.
He is survived by his siblings, William (Theresa) Schrader, Timothy (Karen) Schrader, Cheryl Schrader, and Kimberly (Cary) Bowman, nieces and nephews; David (Courtney) Schrader, Melanie Schrader, Jordan (Jenny) Schrader, Cliff Schrader, Carter Schrader and Alanna Schrader, Elizabeth Brown, Zachery Prax, Annemarie (Evan) Cornelissen and Cooper Bowman, and his aunt, Sybil Eagle. He is also survived by his extended family, Tina (Brandon) Armstead, Tony Heimbach and Angie (Kristi) Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his brothers; Steven Schrader and Clifford Schrader, Jr.
Private family services will take place.
