Richard Allen Sears, born on November 20, 1944 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Pearlie Bacorney and the late John Sears Sr., passed away at age 74 on February 1, 2019 in Douglasville, Georgia. He attended George Washington Carver High School. He was Self Employed as an Electrician at Duvel Electric. Richard was married to Doris Claiborne Sears. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Whitney Bacorney. Richard is survived by his son, Juan (Watika Rattley) Sears Sr.; daughters, Toreale' Sears and Trenicee' (Orlando Brizele) Sears; brother, John Sears Jr.; and grandchildren, Tiara Rattley, Juan Sears Jr., De'Juan Sears, Quiari Brizele, Angelia Sears, Zakari Brizele, and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and other relatives and friends.
A private ceremony was held the evening of February 18, 2019.
