Richard Donald Snow

Richard Donald Snow, 83, husband of Patricia Ann Haigh Snow, of St. Helena Island, SC, died Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Rich was born on May 10, 1939 in Chester, PA. He is the son of the late James E Snow and Mary Ann Green Snow. He married Sally P Snow in 1959 and raised a family in Delaware county Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by Sally P Snow, Robert L Snow, James L Snow, and Charles E Snow. Rich worked at Philadelphia Electric Company for nearly 40 years focused on keeping the lights on for the Philadelphia region. He retired in 1995 and spent time with his family, golfing, and playing and teaching chess.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Patricia; are two sons, Richard D. Snow, Jr. (Carol) and James J. Snow (Kim); two daughters, Sally Jean English and Elizabeth E. Snow (Tony); three sisters, Mary Ann Bass, Frances Flanagan (Tom) and Dorothy Snow; seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, from 10:00-11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a memorial service at 11:00AM.
