Richard Steele Obituary
Mr. Richard Eugene Steele, 92, of Lexington, Kentucky passed away peacefully at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington. Richard was born on November 05, 1930, to the late Ralph Steele and Lottie Steele in Creston, Ohio. For most of his working career, Richard was an avid horse trainer working in the Lexington area. He also served his country during the Korean War. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Patricia Jeter and Phyllis Brown; and several nieces.
A committal service with Military Funeral Honors will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County, Kentucky, with Bro. Dale Sanders officiating on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. A funeral procession to Camp Nelson National Cemetery will take place at 9:15 A.M. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, Kentucky, 40513. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home is in care of all arrangements for Mr. Richard Eugene Steele.
