Richard Steve Stephens, age 80 years, of Bronston, Kentucky died Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was born July 6, 1944 the son of the late Henry Clark Stephens and Gladys (Elmore) Stephens. Steve had been a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son,Ricky Stephens and daughter, Jessica Stephens; brothers: Charles Stephens, Hank Stephens, JB Stephens, Ronnie Stephens, Glenn Stephens, Donnie Stephens; and sisters: Shirley Rowlette and Donna Gibson.
Survivors inlcude his children, Michele Stephens, Stephanie Holloway, Tammy Stephens all of Arkansas; siblings, Bill and Betty Stephens of Versailles Ky, Mike Stephens of Whitley City, KY James Stephens of Whitley City, KY and Debbie and Mark Yokley of Seymour,TN; numerous neices and nephews; and a special friend Mary Feeback of Bronston, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Laurel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 10:30am Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
