Born May 15, 1949, in Pekin, Indiana, he was the son of the late Paul Stewart and Dora (Baker) Stewart.
Life resident of Washington County, he was a former employee of the Washington County Highway Department and member of the Salem American Legion.
Survivors include: Son, Mark Stewart of Salem, Indiana (his Wife, Julia Stewart of New Albany, Indiana); Daughter, Karen Stewart of Jeffersonville, Indiana; and, Sister: Ruby Nichols of Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; having been preceded in death by 5 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 son.
Visitation from 10 am to 12 pm on Monday, June 17th, and Funeral Service at 12 pm with Pastor Michael Donohue officiating. Interment following at Olive Branch Cemetery near Pekin, Indiana.
