Richard Paul Sullivan

Richard Paul Sullivan, 68, of Orristown, Pennsylvania, and former long-time resident of Ozark, Alabama, passed away November 2, 2025, in Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

He was born May 22, 1957, in Miami, Florida, a son of the late Daniel J. Sullivan and Dorothy (Ammerman) Sullivan Ruggerio.

Richard had a long career as an over-the-road truck driver. Affectionately known as "Midnight Rider" he hauled many loads of peanuts and logging until retiring. He enjoyed driving, especially long trips and knew locations well pretty much being his own GPS from his many years behind the wheel.

Those who loved him described him as a jack-of-all-trades and a loving and caring man who didn't ask much of anyone other than respect and to tell the truth. He loved sports, especially football and baseball, and coaching his son in sports brought him much joy.

Surviving is his son, Anthony "Tony" Sullivan of Dadeville, Alabama, his beloved fiancée, Barbara A. Deener of Orrstown, PA, along with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving is a cousin, Terry Bowman of Leesburg, Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jeanne Terazzini.
