In Loving Memory of Richard Dale Sybert
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Dale Sybert, aka R.D. Sybert,
aka Dick Sybert, who left us peacefully on February 7,2025, at the age of 89. He will be
remembered for his smart wit, sharp memory and levity of life.
Richard was born on November 15, 1935, in Dupont, Ohio to Carl and Ruth Sybert. He spent his
youth growing up in Kalida, Ohio and later moved to Missouri where he spent much of his life.
Richard was a true entrepreneur. He began his young career selling Singer sewing machines,
vacuums, and encyclopedias door to door. This experience secured his future in sales, and he was
a master. After moving to Missouri he became the owner of the Mobile Home Mart in Salem and
then went on to varies other business ventures.
Richard married Eileen Patrica Lamb in 1955 and together they built a life. They were blessed with
five children, Kevin Sybert (Debbie), Kit Sybert, Kim Cash (Michael), Kirk Sybert, and Kelly Johnston
(Paul).
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Sybert, and his wife Eileen Sybert. He is
survived by his sister, Maggie Wilson of Texas, his five children, ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
While we mourn the loss of our Dad, we also celebrate his life. His memory will forever remain in
our hearts, and his witty spirit will continue to inspire us. He will be greatly missed and forever
remembered. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.

I remember Mr. Sybert as a supportive parent to Kevin and Kit who I knew through FFA. He raised a good family which is a tribute to his life. To all the Sybert family I offer my condolences.
