Age 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at St. Patrick's Residence in Naperville, IL, surrounded by her loving family.
Zelma was born in Assumption, IL, and later resided for many years in Lockport, IL. She is survived by her loving sons: Randall (Donna) Sybert, Paul (Joanne) Sybert, Douglas (Ann) Sybert, and Scott (Julie) Sybert; grandchildren: Charles Sybert, Andrew (Audra) Sybert, Lauren (Anthony) Carponelli, Luke (Jessica) Sybert, Melissa (Joel) Fehsenfeld, Michelle (Jordan) Sybert, and Michael Sybert; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Sybert; parents, John and Beulah Lambdin; and siblings, John (Mary Ann) Lambdin, Robert (Lois) Lambdin, Rosaly (Russell) Musselman, and Delsie (John) Bunning.
Visitation: Monday, June 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544.
Interment to follow at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet.
