Richard Testa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home on Sep. 28, 2023.
CLINTON: Richard J. "Dick" Testa, 81, passed away peacefully at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
He was born in Fitchburg, on April 10, 1942, son of the late Albert and Doris (Therien) Testa. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Fitchburg, Class of 1960. In 1964, Dick joined the Massachusetts National Guard. Dick was employed most of his career at D.G. O'Brien's in Seabrook, N.H.
Dick was a great athlete all through school and continued to play sports right up to the end. He played golf a few times a week and during the cooler months he bowled. Dick made a lot of good friends throughout his life, and he wouldn't have enjoyed golfing and bowling as much if it wasn't for those great friends. He cherished those great friendships. He was predeceased by his brother, Charlie Testa, and his two sisters, Jean Babineau and Carol Clapper.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Monday, October 2, 2023, in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg, where he will be laid to rest with his mother and father. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Richard J. Testa to: Clinton Polish-American Veterans, 292 Green St., Clinton, MA 01510. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com.
