Richard N. Tosches, 85, of Spring Hill, FL
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Richard was born on May 26, 1940 in Milford, MA to Frank and Doris Tosches. He was one of four children. Richard graduated from Milford High School, then married his love, Louise. They had 6 children. Richard continued his education earning his Bachelor's Degree in Business and Engineering, providing him a foundation for future endeavors, including a cleaning company and employment with Temple Israel of Natick and Northbridge Nursing & Rehabilitation in Northbridge, working in Facilities/Property Management.
In 1995, Richard moved to Spring Hill, FL where he was employed at Tampa Hospital as a Patient Advocate. Later, retiring to enjoy the warmth and light of Florida. This was his happy place. He looked forward to each day and did so much in each day, like it was his last. He loved his beloved dog, Bentley, gardening, landscaping, cooking, reading, baseball, football, amongst many other interests. Richard was always learning and sharing his knowledge with his family, friends, and neighbors. This brought him much joy.
Richard was a person of unwavering strength and resilience, approached life's challenges with determination and uncanny ability to find a solution for anything. He valued hard work, honesty, and self reliance with a no nonsense attitude. Beneath it all, he had a sense of humor that he shared selectively with those he was closest to and he loved those closest to him in his own unforgettable way.
Richard is survived by his loving children, Richard Tosches, Tinalouise (Tosches) Cisternelli and her Husband, Paul Cisternelli, Suzanne (Tosches) MacDonald and her former spouse, David MacDonald, as well as, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Brother, Ronald (Melinda) Tosches. Richard was preceded in death by his Mother, Doris Tosches, Father, Frank Tosches, Brothers, Frank Tosches, Jr., and Robert Tosches, Sister, Jean (Tosches) Melin, Wife, Louise Tosches, Daughters, Deborah (Tosches) Hamel, Tammy (Tosches) Crawley, Robin (Tosches) Miller, and Grandson, Adin Tosches.
A private burial will be held.
