Richard Tripler Obituary
Rich and his wife, Doreen, raised their family in Collingdale, Pennsylvania, where they built a life centered on family and community. A dedicated business owner, he operated Tripler Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning for more than 40 years, and owned and managed several properties throughout Delaware County. Rich proudly served his community and formed lasting friendships through his work.
Rich was known for his big heart, easy smile, and one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He had a knack for fixing just about anything-often in his own creative way that somehow always worked. Whether on the job or helping a friend, his resourcefulness and laughter became trademarks of who he was. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand.
He found joy in life's simple pleasures-golfing, animals, sharing good food, traveling with Doreen and friends, playing blackjack, going to the track, breakfast diners, lively games of Uno with his grandkids, and summers at the Jersey Shore.
Rich's warmth, generosity, and humor touched everyone who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doreen Tripler; his children, Richard Tripler, Jr. (Laura), Karen Straube, and Tommy Tripler (Patty); his grandchildren, Melissa (Straube) Santoro, Dan Straube, Kelsea (Straube) Moran, Ryan Straube, Taylor Tripler, Courtney Tripler, Matthew Tripler, Aidan Tripler, Sophie Tripler, Avery Tripler, Wesley Tripler, and Jenna Parris; and his great-grandchildren, Emilia Santoro and Lucas Moran. Predeceased by his beloved son, Steven Tripler.
Visitation: Tuesday, October 28, 2025, 9:00am-10:45am, at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 28, 2025, 11:00am, Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Cumberland Cemetery, Media, PA.
