Uhles, Richard Lee (née Keel)
October 18, 1938 – December 17, 2025
Richard Uhles, beloved husband of Maryann Uhles (née Fallert), and proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his seven children-Christine, Tina Perrmann (Steve), Michael (Angela), Matthew (Teresa), Lisa Brooks (Glennon), Mark (Candise), and Sara Loehr (James).
Richard was the cherished grandfather of the late John (Abby), Elizabeth (Cody), Christopher (Anna), Stephanie, Alexander, Katie (Dan), Trevor, Heather (Derek), Amanda, Allyson, Gabrielle, Erik (Callie), Richard (Jenny), Declann, the late Hope, the late Grace, Keel, the late Cole, Kain, and Edeline; and the loving great-grandfather of Jaxson, Logan, Colton, Austin, Isaac, Jordan, and Cora. He also leaves behind his loyal furbaby, Ellie Mae.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Olga Fallert; his birth parents, Robert William and Gladys Leona (née Thornell); his parents, Lester W. and Virginia Uhles; his siblings, Robert William Jr., Susan, Raymon, and Delores McKinney; his former son-in-law Lloyd Taffee; and his grandchildren, John, Hope, Grace and Cole. He was a dear uncle to Kim Iris McKinney, Sudie McKinney Lindeman (John), and Erin McKinney Seay (Michael).
Richard's life was defined by generosity, service, steadfast faith, a tireless work ethic, and unwavering devotion to his family. He built Trio Plumbing Company not for wealth, but to provide for those he loved. To his children, he was the one you turned to-steady, wise, and always there.
May Richard rest in eternal peace in the house of our Lord, welcomed home with love.
"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
