Richard W. Verner, Jr., of Cheshire, passed away on October 7, 2024. Richard was born on May 26, 1963 in Meriden, CT, the son of Annmarie LaRose Verner and the late Richard W. Verner, Sr.
Rich attended Cheshire High School, class of 1981. He was an exceptionally hard worker, and worked at NAPA Auto Parts in the stockroom for many years. Rich was a jack of all trades, and rarely met a job, hobby or activity that he couldn’t conquer. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his buddies. Rich doted on and cared for the family dogs, Holly, Blizzard and Prancer, and they will truly be lost without him.
In addition to his mother, Annmarie, Rich leaves behind his siblings, Mary Verner and David (Mariella Fracasso) Verner; nephew, Lukas Fracasso-Verner; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary (DiMaria) Paternoster and his paternal grandparents, William and Myra (Williams) Verner.
