Richard A. Vieira, a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 20, 2024, in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Richard was born on October 15, 1964, in Fall River, Massachusetts, to Brenda J. Dupras and Richard A. Vieira Sr., both of whom predeceased him.
Richard dedicated much of his professional life to Trinity Contractors, LLC, and True Stone Masonry, LLC, where he was known for his great craftsmanship and profound work ethic. His educational journey concluded at B.M.C. Durfee High School, where he built the foundation for a life filled with dedication and hard work.
Richard had a vibrant personality and cherished spending time with his family and friends. He was a person who truly loved life and enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including playing pool, bowling, camping and riding ATVs, going to the beach, and singing karaoke. His zest for adventure and leisure activities made him a beloved figure to those who knew him.He leaves behind a devoted wife of 9 years, Angela Davis Vieira, and her four children: Marty Ann, Brian, Kelly Jo, and Matthew. Richard's legacy continues with his son, Eric Vieira, and his three daughters, Tiara Dias, Sherrie Dubois and her husband Kyle Dubois, as well as Crystal Vieira and her spouse Nigel Schroeter. He will also be significantly remembered by his fourteen grandchildren: Kaydence, JJ, Adrian, Angelina, Aaliyah, Anthony, Eversol, Yahnnie, Ari, Nila, Nyleigh, Nyomi, Nicholas, and Nathaniel; who also hold treasured memories of him.
Richard is also survived by his sister, Jena Sullivan, and her husband, Rob Sullivan, as well as three nieces and one nephew: Alexandria, Marissa, Isabella, and Robert. His brother, David Vieira, and his wife, Denise Vieira, survive him, along with three nephews and one niece: Michael, Johnathan, Nate, and Jasmyn.
He was preceded in death by his son, James “Bo” Davis, whose memory remains in the hearts of those who loved him.
Richard A. Viera will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his playful spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy of care and connection will endure through the many lives he touched.
