Richard Allen Wallace, 81, Wyandotte, OK, passed away December 31, 2025 at his home after an illness.
Richard Allen Wallace was born July 16, 1944 in Ponca City, OK the son of Leonard and Hazel (Long) Wallace. Richard loved fishing, trucks, collecting guns and trains and loved spending time tinkering with projects. He formerly worked for the Claremore Indian Hospital and for Flint Steel in Tulsa, OK as a CC operator. Richard served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Seneca Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma, the Wyandotte United Methodist Church and had been attending Three Rivers Baptist Church.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Hazel Wallace, siblings, Grace Lockner, Clara Wencel and Morris Wallace.
Survivors include his wife Ruby (Flaherty) Wallace; his children, Mark Wallace and wife Becky, Claremore, OK, Sondra Wallace, Wyandotte, OK, Michael Wallace and Julie Mowen, Cherokee, KS, Amber Biddle and husband Billy Biddle, Girard, KS; his siblings, Jack Wallace and wife Glenda, Broken Arrow, OK, June Wallace, Wyandotte, OK, Norman Wallace, Grantsville, KS; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, January 2, 2025 at the Bassett Grove Cemetery with Chris Mammedaty and Charles Diebold officiating.
