Richard Weigold Obituary

Richard G. Weigold, 94 of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. He was born Dec. 16, 1929 in Jeannette, a son of the late Wesley and Jessie (Albaugh) Weigold. Richard was an avid dancer and belonged to the Steel City Boogie Club and the Pittsburgh Area Jitter Bug Club. He was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War and belonged to the American Legion in Jeannette Post 344 and the VFW in Jeannette Post 8240. Richard was the former owner of Feline Archery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Weigold. Surviving are his daughters, Sandy Ganster, Donna Latimer, and Dianne Brinker; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg, with military honors.
