Bishop Richard White, affectionately known to us and many as "Mr. Clean" was a great friend of the late beloved Apostle E. W. Wilcots, Founder of Bible Days Revivals, Incorporated in Houston Texas. He visited us annually for Revival, and he always stopped in to see us if he was in town for the COGIC or another Ministry. He knew no strangers because once he met a person, he could always
remember their name. We met his beautiful family, and he is going to be missed by all of us. Condolences, and prayers for his children, loveones, friends, and Congregation. Bishop White will live on in our hearts with his compassionate spirit, soul stirring messages, anointed voice, and recordings. Nobody could sing a hymn like Mr. Clean. He was an anointed, and fierce force in the Kingdom of God.

My first memory of Mr.Clean was the Labor Day revivals at William Temple, Church of God in Christ in Gainesville, Florida. He´s was a very colorful speaker who always said what had to say. I appreciated the fact that he was very straight forward and always had a word from the Lord..He loved our Pastor the late Rev Dr.D.R.Williams and his love was reciprocated. We at Williams Temple GOGIC respected and looked forward seeing Mr.Clean every Labor Day for our 3 night revivals. Rest in Heaven Bishop.May the God of all comfort give his family peace comfort and strength in their time of bereavement.

Very early in my Christian life, I was introduced to your powerful ministry at the Monument of Faith Church in Chicago. You made a powerful and lasting impact in my Christian growth. Whenever Apostle Henton announced that you were coming to Monument, I was so excited because I knew God had something for me through the Word you preached! You are now in the Presence of the Lord. Rest in peace Great man of God; you have finished your course! Minister/Dr. Theresa.

Bishop Richard "Mr. Clean" White, Sr. , gone from this place but never from our hearts. When I received word that you had received your wings and had transition back home to the Father my heart was heavy and tears was so real. I quickly remembered the words to one of my favorite songs that you wrote and I found comfort immediately in those words Accept What God, allows.
You my friend are now absent from the body and present with the Lord. Done with the troubles of this world. Take your rest you, good and faithful servant. Until we meet again on that great get up morning in bright glory rest in power my friend and big brother in the faith and by love.

I remember seeing Bishop White at my childhood church (Deliverance, Apostle Arturo Skinner), Ohh my goodness, we was so powerfully anointed to preach and sing. I was amazed as a child of the power of God that was in the building with us as he preached and sang. I will never forget it. My condolences to the White family.

I remember Bishop Richard "Mr. Clean" White, Sr. When my mother was living Evangelist Selena Gambrell, Evangelist Filyarw, Pastor Filyarw, and Mother Madden, Mother Francis, all went to a small church together. He was up praying for some young people in the church, I was incredibly young. He called them up for prayer, this young man we called him Inky, he slapped him so hard that he fell out on the floor. Not only did the Lord knock him out (Inky) through Bishop Richard White, but he was also knocked out cold. When he got up, he started saying, thank you, Jesus. I guarantee he never felt like that before. But Bishop Richard White was always a powerful Preacher and a powerful man of GOD. One more incident that happened, you know how women have these big hat pins sticking in their hats, well my brother Fernando Gambrell, was prayed for as well, and when Bishop Richard White, we called Bishop Mr. Clean,
I prayed for him as well, he hit him so hard on his head as well, that he went back sat on a hat pin, and screamed out Hallelujah thank you, Jesus. We are praying for your family; you will always be remembered. Let us continue to keep God as the head of our life, then as God allowed Bishop, Mr. Clean White, then he will keep you as well. I had beautiful memories.

My first "knowing" of Bishop was when I was a little girl. I was familiar with him by growing up in COGIC. My late mother kept up with his preaching and singing. I am so glad that I was introduced to his preaching and singing and writing of songs. He was a Powerhouse Bishop. My sympathies to his family.

Loved Bishop Richard "Mr. Clean" White. He was like family. I met him as a young girl when my Dad, Supt. Douglas Dwight Moye´ Sr., brought him to Aliquippa Pennsylvania, in the 70´s to run a revival at our family church, Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, which was Pastored by my late Grandfather, Rev Augustus J. Moye, Sr. Many souls were reclaimed during this revival. As years went by I had the pleasure to sing with he and Twinkie Clark, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and other Legends in the Mass Choir in UNAC now called AIMS, and the Holy Convocation. I can go on and on, but Thank you "Mr.Clean" for your years of servitude and Giant footsteps you leave behind. Prayers sent of comfort to the family and The entire COGIC...
What a Legend and Legacy!!!
