Richard White Jr. passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Monday, June 23, 2025. He was born on May 27, 1975, in Maryland and raised in New Castle, Delaware.
A proud graduate of William Penn High School, Richard spent over three decades working as a roofer before turning his passion into a business, crafting and sharpening knives. Known for his easygoing nature and sharp wit, Richard found joy in life's simple pleasures: tuning into the Military Channel, snacking on his favorite treats, and cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. A cold beer on a hot day was his idea of perfection.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard "Sonny" White Sr.; his mother, Tina Weglarz Ragnis; his sister, Laura Mae White; his stepmother, Christina Lydic; and his grandparents, Bronislaw and Genevieve Weglarz, and Evelyn White.
His siblings survive him: Clint Green, Jay Ragnis, Charles Ragnis, and Josh Ragnis; and his stepfather, John Ragnis. Richard also leaves behind his loving fiancée, Bonita Andino, as well as a cherished stepdaughter, Nicole Ventura, and her three children-Alexis, Alyssa, and Noel-whom he loved dearly.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his legacy live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A service for Richard will be held at the Corleto-Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union Street, Wilmington, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 11 am to 12 pm. Interment will follow at 12:30 pm at All Saints Cemetery, 2200 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
