Richard White Obituary
Richard grew up in Bowling Green, Ohio and graduated from B.G. High School in 1961. He then served in the Army from 1963 to 1969 (2 years active and 4 years Reserves).
Richard worked at Luttrells Auto Parts for many years and then as a truck driver as his final job before retiring.
His hobbies included; fishing, his Harley Davidson and classic cars.
Richard married Margie Vanderhoff on October 15, 1983 and spent the next 38 years together before her passing in 2021.
On September 12, 2023, Richard was lucky enough to take a trip with Flag City Honor Flight. This was a one day trip that he considered the best time he ever had.
Surviving Richard are; his siblings, Robert (Sandy), Daniel (Leslie), Harley Jr. (Jeanette), and Sharon; sisters-in-law, Barb and Ila; many nieces and nephews; and his daughter Diana.
Proceeding him in death are his mother, Helen (Nichelson); his father, Harley; his wife, Margie; his three brothers, David, Douglas and Thomas; his brother-in-law Jim; sister-in-law, Louise, and nephew Brent.
Richard was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee , Ohio, on Wednesday July 23, 2025 from 12 till 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 11 a.m.
The family kindly requests donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
