Richard Franklin White, 82, of Yadkinville, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.
Mr. White was born January 22, 1943, in Forsyth County, to Joe Cephus White and Mabel Marjoren Jones White. Richard was a member of Northwood Baptist Church. He adored Christ, his family, and his friends. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Jean Lawrence White.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 15 years, Margaret Ann Howell White; two sons, Ronald White (Martha), and Randall White (Michelle); and a stepson, Blake Cline; three grandchildren, Andrew White, Ruthann Winters, and Megan Flowers; three great-grandchildren, Amelia, Atlas, and Evelynn; and several special friends.
A graveside service will be held 10 AM Friday, September 19, 2025, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Pastor Tim Webb, Don Walker, and Reverend Dr. Richard Brinegar officiating.
Much gratitude to the hospice staff who have taken such wonderful, loving care of Richard.
Love to Papa from the grandchildren. You will be missed. We love you, Papa. Now, “Truly the best you’ve ever seen.”
