Richard Craig Wise, was born on April 24, 1961 to the late Hillary Wise Sr. and Hattie Wise. Richard departed this life on February 25, 2024 at his residence in Wattsville, Virginia.
Richard, known to most as "Bed Bug" or "Craig" was kind, respectful and friendly to everyone he came in contact with. He was known throughout parts of Pocomoke and Virginia.
Richard was preceded in his death by his parents, Hillary, Sr. and Hattie Wise; one son, Craig Wise; grandparents, Ralph and Sadie Wise; aunts, Alice Schoolfield, Florence Schoolfield, and Annie Turner.
Richard was educated in Accomack County Public School system. He was baptized at an early age and attended St. Mark United Methodist Church. He loved his family dearly.
Richard was employed at Nocks' Tire Company in Pocomoke City, Maryland for over 35 years.
Richard leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 20 years, Jamice Wise of New Church, VA; one daughter, Pamela Matthews of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Brian Mills of Lexington, KY and De'Quawn Chisum of Wilmington, DE; three grandchildren, Daysha, Lex, and Phor; one great-grandson; five sisters, Rebecca Wise of Pocomoke City, MD, Denise Palmer of Pocomoke City, MD, Beverly Palmer of Tampa, FL, Almeda Johnson of Daugherty, VA, and Sherena Wise of Fruitland, MD; two brothers, Hillary Wise, Jr. and Alexander Wise, both of Horntown, VA; mother-in-law, Nancy Collins of New Church, VA; father-in-law, Russell Williams, II (Lisa); two brothers-in-law, Russell Williams, III (Rhonda) and Montel Baines; one sister-in-law, Lamesha Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
