Richard Michael Witte

Richard Michael Witte, 74, of Middleton, TN, formerly of Bellevue, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at his residence. He was a University of Cincinnati graduate and worked for Dover Elevator as a Systems Analyst before retiring after 50 years. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril & Margaret (nee. White) Witte & sister in law, Betty (the late Elmer) Haas. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan (nee. Birkenhauer) Witte; brother, David Witte; brothers in law, Robert & Murdock (Arlene) Birkenhauer; sisters in law, Barbara (Larry) Burton, Sandra (late Dennis) Kuhl & Donna (Ron) King and several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be from 10-12 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12 p.m., Monday, October 13th at Holy Spirit Parish, Newport.
