Richard Orral Wright

RICHARD ORRAL WRIGHT age 92 of Crossville, TN passed away October 16, 2025. He was born April 14, 1933 in Flint, MI the son of Ira and Sylva Lynn Wright. He retired after 42 years with General Motors as a chemist and also served our country in the United States Air Force having serving during Korea. He and his wife Susan were members of Central Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Susan Wright of Crossville, TN, daughters- Shirley Smith and her husband Warren and Eadie Hyde and her husband Doug all of Naples, FL and Jennifer Constant of Lowell, IN, grandchildren- David Newbill, Jeffery Newbill and his wife Collette, Ryan Hyde and his wife Maddy, Eric Hyde and his wife Amber, Alex Constant and his wife Sarah, Joshuah Constant and his wife Maya and Jenna Lambert and her husband Parker and great grandchildren- Tyler, Ethan, Rayven, Luna, Fenix, Henry, Clara and Samantha.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son- Robert Atkinson III, brothers- Phil Wright, David Wright, Byron Wright and Bruce Wright and sisters- Georgia Rose and Ruth Johnson.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
