He was born on November 7, 1959 in Harrisburg, PA.
Richard was a gifted auto mechanic.
He was a member of the NRA, enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and target shooting.
Surviving is 4 sons; Richard E. Young, III and his wife, Tami of CO, Charles R. Young of Lykens, Scott A. Young of Georgetown, DE, Shane A. Young of Tremont, his parents; Richard E. Young, Sr. and Virginia (Turpin) Young of Harrisburg, 3 brothers; Kenneth Young, Timothy Young, Michael Young, and a granddaughter, Hailey Young. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Caitlyn Young.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
