Rick Lee Dougherty, 60, of Pryor, passed away on March 7, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on March 17, 1962 in Helena, Montana. Rick worked at Parfab Industries, LLC for many years as an inspector. Rick was a talented woodworker, loved photography and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially when he was able to go fishing. He also enjoyed following Nascar and watching Kyle Busch race. Rick loved to spend time with his family and was a loving husband, dad and grandpa. Rick enjoyed spending time with his brothers, sister, mom, and his dad, who was his hero. He was strong willed, a little stubborn, with an ornery streak, but never missed an opportunity to give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He leaves behind many memories for his family to remember.
Rick is survived by his wife, Carla Dougherty of the home; son, Steven Ruben of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughters, Misty Squyres and husband James of Lawton, Oklahoma, Stefany Cooper and husband Justin of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Kasie Self and fiancé Corey of Lawton, Oklahoma; parents, Chuck and Nancy Dougherty of Woodward, Oklahoma; brothers, Michael Dougherty of Woodward, Oklahoma, Dwane Dougherty and wife Cassie of Fruitland Park, Florida, Tony Dougherty and wife Melissa of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Kevin Dougherty and wife Stacie of Atchison, Kansas; sister, Vicki Houston and husband Tom of Clarksville, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren, Christopher, Dallas, Earl, Colby, Brayden, Samantha, Fynn, Ari, Joseph, Mila, and Nico; and many other relatives and friends.
