Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning“s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Rick was such an interesting fellow! Enjoyed hearing tales about what he had been doing, what he had done or what he was thinking about doing. Didn't make any difference if he told me or if I heard it from his family members. What an interesting life!

Rick was a good friend of my dad's. But I had very good memories of time I got to spend with Rick from when I was very young and as I grew older. Rick was a great person and had a great personality. We always laughed when we spent time with Rick. Even when we spoke to him on the phone he would leave lasting impressions with his intellectual humor on a range of different topics. Every time any of us had an encounter or a talk with Rick there was a great story on "Rick's take" on any situation or event. He was a great family man and definitely one of our family's greatest friends. Thoughts and prayers to the Engquist family. I wish I could have been there with you all today.
Love, Hadley Hale
