It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rickert Dean Janssen, who departed this life on January 31, 2025, at the age of 49. He died from complications of serious health issues. Rick will be laid to rest beside his father at Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery in the spring. A public visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th from 2:00 - 4:00p, at Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E Street, Anchorage, AK 99501.

Welcomed others w/open arms;ability to provide 2 those less fortunate, Rick enjoyed endulging w/friends. transitioned well, always good stories 2 tell. Amazing cook,knew his food, enjoyed take-out delivery @joints'n'town. Rick was a lover &100% anti violence, loved animals& could have been a dog whisperer. The End of Rick Diaries by MilliAmanda
