Rick was born on July 15, 1961, and grew up in Ashville. He graduated from Teays Valley High School in 1979 and retired from GE in Circleville in 2010 after many years of hard work and dedication.
Rick married his high school sweetheart Cindy Sue Little of Ashville, on June 11, 1983. Together they had two sons, Heath and Sean, who, along with Cindy, preceded him in death in 1991.
He is survived by his son Ethan LeMaster of Ashville; stepsons Eli Smith and Evan Smith of Ashville; and their mother, Lisa LeMaster. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Reeser of Circleville, and her sister Margaret Rhodes of Circleville; and siblings Toni (Steve) Smith of Commercial Point, Stacey Reeser of Circleville, Rob (Melitta) LeMaster of Wellston, Todd (Sasha) LeMaster of Pleasantville, Tyson Rice of Lancaster, and Mark Hunt of Lancaster. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Rita (Jack) Gray of Vinton and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob LeMaster, in July 2023.
Rick, known by many as “Bear,” was an outdoorsman at heart who enjoyed hunting, camping, and collecting things that caught his interest. He loved history, The Ohio State Buckeyes, Harley Davidson motorcycles, pets of all kinds, and a good cold Mountain Dew. He was also known for being handy and always ready to take on a remodeling project or help someone with theirs.
He will be remembered for his independence, quiet strength, and sense of humor.
