Robert Allen Crosby, age 70, of Ashville, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025. He was born on December 29, 1954, in Ashville, Ohio to the late Robert W. and Donna Edith (Donaldson) Crosby. Robert was a 1974 graduate of Teays Valley High School. He worked for over 29 years as an inspector at Buckeye Steel and for 30 years as the Food and Beverage Manager at Scioto Downs. He was a dedicated worker and loved his family. Taking care of his grandsons brought him the most joy and happiness.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vickie (Edmunds) Crosby; daughter, Callie Crosby and grandsons, Nick and Tucker of Ashville; brothers, Ron and Rick (Jenny) Crosby of Ashville, Randy Crosby of Stoutsville; and sister, Ruby Brown (Duncan Jones) of Ashville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Ralph and Roger and sister, Joy Hinton.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Condolences can be made online at olivercheekfuneralhome.com.
