Rick Mueller

Rick Mueller, age 70, of Stover passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at the Golden Age Living Center.
On the 30th day of November in 1951 Lawrence and Cleo Merriott Mueller welcomed their first child, Richard Lawrence, into their home.
In 1986, Rick was united in marriage to Debra James in Versailles.
Rick started his teaching career in Camdenton in 1978 as a Special Education Teacher for four years. He moved up to Stover in 1988 starting his thirteen year career at Morgan Co R-1 Stover, until his retirement in 2001. While at Stover Rick taught Special Education, Small Mechanics, and Driver's Ed.
He was a member of the Stover First Baptist Church.
Rick was a history buff. He knew just about everything there was to know about Stover and the old parts of town. He also liked spending time outdoors at "the land" and collecting old bicycles and guns. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family. He was always ready to watch one of his kids play sports and that support went on to his grandkids.
Left to carry on Rick's legacy is his wife, Debbie Mueller of Stover; his son, Wesley "Wes" Mueller of Stover, his daughter, Janet Phillips and her significant other Kenneth Larock-Simpson of Stover; six grandchildren, Kyleigh Mueller, Owen Phillips, Cameron Phillips, Hayden Phillips, Parker Phillips, and Hannah Phillips; a brother, Robert Mueller and wife Karyline of Wentzville; a sister, Becky Mueller and significant other Clinton Birdsong of Cole Camp; an aunt, Mary Nolting and husband Fred of Stover; along with many other family and friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover with Rev. Robert Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Stover Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.
