Ricky Dean Ramsey, son of James Glen Ramsey and Hattie Opal (Swisher) Ramsey, was born March 18, 1962, in Springfield, Missouri, and departed this life June 14, 2024, at his home in Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of 62 years, 2 months, and 26 days.
He was united in marriage to Charlene Sue Colston on September 3, 1980, and to this union two sons were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ricky is survived by his wife of almost 44 years, Charlene, of the home; sons, Ricky Ramsey and Randy Ramsey both of Mansfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Randall Ramsey, Harry Ramsey, and Colston Ramsey; brother, Carl Ramsey of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; two sisters, Faye Butts and husband, Brad, of Manes, Missouri and Kay Turley and husband, Carl; and mother-in-law, Darlene Carnall all of Mansfield, Missouri
Ricky attended Rogersville and Mansfield Schools. He worked at Tobin-Hamilton Shoe Factory in Mansfield for 15 years and at Wal-Mart in Mtn. Grove for 24 years, retiring in 2020.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and taking care of his yard.
Ricky was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and caring neighbor and friend. We had many special times together that we will always cherish.
