Rick's Memorial Service will be live-streamed here.
Wayne Rick Richman, age 71, of Bennett, died on May 27, 2025, at his home.
Rick was born on December 10, 1953, in Thermopolis, Wyoming, to Edwin Garold and Betty Lillian Bigelow Richman. He honorably served in the United States Air Force for four years during Vietnam. He married Debra Kay White on September 15, 1978, in Whiterocks Canyon, Utah. She died on December 14, 2019.
Rick was a man that liked to work with his hands. He obtained his contractors license and built homes for the Ute Indian Tribe. He enjoyed trapping and hunting. He worked hard in the oilfield, fulfilling many jobs including Roustabout and truck driver. Additionally, he was a farmer and worked cows and horses.
Above all, family was the most important thing to Rick. He loved his wife and her passing left a void in his life. He loved his boys and adored his daughter-in-law. He loved his grandchildren even more and was proud of each of them.
Rick is survived by his boys and daughter-in-law, Lucus and Levi (Ashley) Richman, of Roosevelt; grandchildren, Gavin Matlock, Lannin (Grace), Mekaea, Payshence, and Zinley Richman; great-grandchild, Dakota Mitchell, and another on the way; siblings, Val (Sue) Richman, Roosevelt; Max Richman, Roosevelt; Karen (Barry) Bishop, Salt Lake City; and Garold (Linda) Richman, Salt Lake City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Debbie, son, Lefty, and brothers, Craig and David Richman; and grandmother, Vera Christina Bigelow.
Rick’s family extends a very special thank you to Canyon Home Care and Hospice, especially to Nadene Ames and Charla Bozarth.
Per his wishes, he was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Hullinger Mortuary, with military honors presented.
