Rick Alan Rocholl, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on May 30, 1951, in Detroit, MI, Rick's journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and a generous spirit that touched all who knew him.

After graduating from Dearborn High School in 1969, Rick began a distinguished career at Ford Motor Company, where he worked for over 30 years as a cold room technologist. His commitment to excellence and the friendships he forged along the way were testaments to his work ethic and amiable nature. Following his well-earned retirement from Ford, Rick continued to serve his community by working at Staples, where he enjoyed interacting with colleagues and customers alike.

Rick shared a beautiful life with his loving wife, Debbie, and together they raised two daughters, Kimberly and Michelle, whom he adored unconditionally. His role as a family man extended to his beloved sister, the late Lynn (Barry), brother Gordon, sister Maryann (Andrew), and his treasured grandchildren, Nickolas, Courtney, Hayden, and Sophia. His warmth and guidance also enriched the lives of his nieces, nephews, and all who were part of his extended family.

Rick's zest for life was evident in his many hobbies and interests. He was happiest when working in his yard, where his care and attention to detail mirrored the love he had for nature. His leisure time often included trips to the casino, where he relished the thrill of the game. A master of strategy and wit, he also enjoyed playing card games, completing crosswords, and tackling challenging puzzles. These simple pleasures were sources of joy that Rick loved to share with his friends and family.

Rick's altruistic nature led him to volunteer at the Annapolis High School Booster Club and the District 7 Dads Club, where he made significant contributions. His selflessness and dedication to helping others bolstered the organizations he supported and left a lasting impact on his community.

To say that Rick was generous, selfless, and loving would be an understatement. He was a pillar of strength, kindness, and compassion who guided his family with a gentle hand and an open heart.
